I picked a good time to come back to NG.

Love the lighting in this piece, and all your line work serves to draw your attention down this corridor...feels very mysterious, I want to know what's over there. Love the little bright-eyed bird on the right, but the small details of the falling leaves and the ripples in the water really serve to make this come alive for me. Fabulous work, thank you for your submission.

Thanks! I had alot of fun working on this piece... even though it took forever.

That is some SERIOUSLY adept shading. The level of detail here is disgusting, like all of my favorite Ren and Stimpy close-ups. God, look at that gumline, the moles on the throat, the HAIRS....ugh. IT's beautifully disgusting. Very reminiscent of good ol' Ratfink stuff. Barf. 5 stars.

Your line work is awesome, and I really love the style you went with on the fish, that long sweeping tail really adds a lot to this piece. The shading on the girl's hair is a nice touch too.

But I am hung up on the proportions of this woman. Those are some wide, wide hips and some thunderous friggin' thighs. Maybe this is a style I'm just not familiar with, but it was kind of off-putting. It's like from the waist up she is a completely different person (METAPHOR?!?!)

I think the fish alone, or paired with another koi would have given me a better impression from this. Thanks for the submission, that is some fine looking sea life you've got there.

Dude, this is killer. I once again find that your color choices draw me in, even in the thumbnail. Something about your art is just so loud and chaotic and it keeps bringing me in.

This one is fun and terrifying. Love that you went with the discoloration in the teeth and made the effort to make them crooked and jagged...not pretty. All the space you created (with what I assume was whiteout and love?) really makes this piece pop, and gives me the idea that this horrifying shit is jumping out of the page. Awesome.

Also, do I see a pair of lactating tits hiding in there, or is that just my brain being damaged?

Found your brief message, too. Keeping it classy, I see.

Anyway man, again...really enjoy your work. Thanks for the submissions.

conundrummer responds:

Yeah those are definitely breasts, though I forgot I wrote the f word in there. I'm gonna hear about that one from my mother.

I really love the way you've melded the colors together, especially the chaos and bright palette you used in the face when compared to the cooler, less chaotic scenes in the head and below the chin...it really draws attention to the face, which I think is remarkably well drawn...This man is ugly and looks sad and I find that I feel bad for him. It would have been cool to see more going on inside the head, although maybe cliche...but maybe that's the point? This poor guy's head is empty except for a tiny, pink brain. Love it.

Ew.

Very reminiscent of some 90's punk album art. Disgusting, nonsensical, and difficult to look at. Lovecraftian horror for the rest of us. The molestache really rounds out this piece. Is it weird that I feel guilty for saying I like this? Good work!

I almost feel guilty for liking this.

Gruesome though it may be, this is some beautiful artwork. Santa's jolly demeanor contrasts wonderfully with the decomposing reindeer skull he has grasped in his fist. I only wonder what he keps in those little bags around his legs...

At first glance, I was immediately reminded of the old Assassin guy from Newgrounds days of old. Great work!

Be excellent to each other.
