Thanks! The ideas/writing were the focus. As for the look: It's meant to be very elementary in style. So it looks like I succeeded in both areas. :)

I liked the concept, thought the animation was really smooth too. The sound effects are extremely loud, though. That dude walking across the sand sounds like he has sacks of marbles rigged up to microphones tied around his legs. I'd love to see what you can do besides stickmen too! (still more than I could animate)

['Save the Sock']

I really liked this! It was very light hearted and fun, and I think everyone can identify with the mystery of a missing sock, and the portal was as good an explanation as any, so your absurd plot worked out in the end. I liked your art and animation style too, it was kind of dirty and grungy, reminded me somewhat of "AHHHH! Real Monsters" if you recall that cartoon. AND you supplemented it all with the Dill Pickles Rag, which from what I understand is an actual, real thing.

Well the concept came from the dumb idea of "waking up without one sock", so I'm glad it was relatable, hehehh. Also, I was a big fan of the 90s Nicktoons, and in a way I think they were an influence for my drawings.

[SHOWREEL 2012 - 14]

Some of this animation really shines, some of it does not so much for me. It looks like some of the stuff you either spent more time on or you have improved a lot from point a to point b. The way you animate mouths is....distracting. It's pretty crazy. But it looks like you have some good skillsets that are gradually getting better.

this video/ showreel, is just a mix up of stuff iv created over the years. mostly pulled out some of the best projects iv enjoyed or done from 2012 - 14, some of the stuff is incomplete or un-released. i will work on the lipsync aswell.
